About Jim
James (Jim) Hays is the owner & broker of Sunshine Realty & Appraisal Services, LLC. Sunshine Realty was originally opened by his mother Jane Solomon and sister Jennifer Hays in 1983. Jim has been a real estate agent with Sunshine Realty since 1984 and a real estate appraiser since 1991, after obtaining a BS degree in Real Estate from Florida State University in December 1991. Jim became the owner/broker of Sunshine Realty in January 2007 after his mother retired.
Outside of work, Jim enjoys surfing, snowboarding, weight lifting, and hiking. Jim is a current board member and a past board president of EPIC Behavioral Healthcare. EPIC’s mission is to strengthen our community by assisting individuals and families impacted by drugs and alcohol, mental health disorders, and related problem behaviors through a comprehensive system of Education, Prevention, Intervention, and Counseling. Jim is also a board member of the EPIC Recovery Center, a detoxification/residential facility serving St. Johns County and northeast Florida residents.
